SeaView MOSAIC is the first post-processing and interpretation software for side-scan sonar multibeam backscatter capable of interactive mosaic editing at full resolution, delivering high-resolution seafloor imagery with unmatched quality and using just a fraction of the time.
SeaView MOSAIC uses an innovative georeferencing algorithm to deliver the best output quality, with very low distortions and no fanning effect.
Processing backscatter data at full resolution preserves all the details of the RAW records. Mosaics are crisp and clear as the waterfall view. Moreover, snippet data is processed at full resolution using all the available samples.
SeaView MOSAIC uses the full power of modern computers with its fast and immersive 3D visualization engine. Mosaic immediately updated whenever the user adjusts display ranges, split lines, corrects positioning or heading errors, etc.
Data normalization is performed automatically with an innovative radiometric correction algorithm. It provides detailed images while reducing the nadir gap effect and compensating for across-track striping effects.
SeaView MOSAIC also features powerful yet easy to use interpretation tools, which allow to draw directly on the mosaic and create a database of targets with custom classification metadata.
Data stored in the interpretation database can be exported to third-party applications and can be used to generate reports automatically.
