Questions about EU regulations or transposition permits? Set them in the run-up to the ADW Industry Update
On July 1, Amsterdam Drone Week will present an online Industry Update. In the morning it is aimed at an international audience, in the afternoon a section especially for the Dutch market will follow: The Dutch Drone Agenda. Drone operators and other stakeholders can submit questions that will be included in the preparation until 16 June.
Dutch Drone Agenda
The afternoon section of the Industry Update of Amsterdam Drone Week starts at two o’clock. Moderator Tineke Bakker-Van der Veen will interview Paul van Koningsbruggen Director Mobility TNL/Technolution about the proceeds of the national inventory by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, followed by a roundtable discussion about the focus points of the Dutch Drone Agenda, the importance of Public Private Cooperation and the role of a Dutch Drone Council. Joost Vreeken will then present the new testing and experimentation framework on behalf of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management and explain what this means for the Dutch drone sector.
Later in the afternoon, it will be the city and region’s turn. The municipalities of Heerlen and The Hague, the province of Friesland and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management are discussing ambitions, applications with drones and the impact of the so-called third dimension on local governments.
The program is complemented by a number of homegrown use cases, including the NLR HYDRA hydrogen drone and the Drone2Go project.
Question and Answer Sessions
The Industry Update ends with three question and answer sessions that can accommodate 50 participants per session. Questions will be answered about EU regulations (Ministry of IenW), the conversion of permits (ILT), the use of drones in management of road, waterway and water (Platform WOW) and various use cases.
Until 16 June, it is possible to submit questions to the organization, which are included in the preparation of these three question and answer sessions. This can be done through this survey.
